Today is the 11th anniversary of our log-in-date for adopting our daughter from China. Originally, when we started this whole process, we would have been to China and back already. Unfortunately, it isn't the case, but we are still convinced that God will place her with our family when the time is right. HIS timing is perfect! “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the Lord." Isaiah 55:8
We'll enjoy our 11th Chinese dinner out tonight to talk about "mei-mei" and dream about when she's finally home with us.
Our (re)fingerprinting appointment is on July 7, to start that process all over again. Thankfully, we get to take advantage of our one-time renewal and it's free this time. Hopefully, we won't need to go through this again in 18 more months!
